Scientists find biofuels increase greenhouse gas emissions

The November 2011 edition of Nature Climate Change notes that a team of independent scientists has accused the European Union of a "serious accounting error" regarding 'greenhouse' gas emissions from biofuels, finding their use results in a net increase of CO2 in the atmosphere:

  1. Correction - the scientists have not accused the European Environment Agency of any accounting error - in fact, the scientists you mention are the Scientific Committee of the EEA.     Please check your facts more thoroughly - failing to read a document you post on your own website shows a very sloppy use of facts.
